Cortijo Medina is a spectacular fully renovated country estate of approximately 580 m², set on around 8,000 m² of sloping land and enjoying fabulous panoramic views across the surrounding valley. A property of exceptional character, it combines the traditional charm of a Spanish country house with modern comforts and extensive indoor and outdoor living spaces.
The main house begins on the ground floor with an impressive open-plan kitchen, dining area and lounge, all spacious and beautifully presented, creating a warm and welcoming living environment. The kitchen has direct access to the garden and a small hallway leads to a shower room with WC and a large pantry. The dining area easily accommodates a large table, while the lounge features a wood-burning stove.
From the lounge, a few steps lead to a spectacular second sitting room with breathtaking valley views. This room opens onto two charming outdoor terraces, providing wonderful spaces for relaxing and enjoying the scenery.
Returning to the main lounge and dining area, a doorway leads to a beautifully restored lower landing which retains the original wooden beams and much of the property’s rustic character. From here there is a good-sized double bedroom.
The staircase continues to the intermediate level, where there is a spacious double bedroom with an en-suite shower room and WC.
On the upper level is the main entrance to the property. Due to its hillside position, this level connects directly with the parking area and garages. A beautiful hallway leads to the remaining bedrooms, including a single bedroom followed by two medium-sized bedrooms, one currently used as a dressing room. At the end of the hallway is a shower room with WC.
The impressive master suite is located to the opposite side and includes a very large dressing room, shower room with WC and the main bedroom, all enjoying wonderful views across the valley.
Returning down the impressive staircase to the lower landing, a hidden door leads to a small sitting room, useful storage room and another double bedroom with an en-suite shower room and WC. This bedroom also benefits from its own private terrace.
The property sits on approximately 8,000 m² of land planted with olive and almond trees, including an enclosed garden area of around 700 m². The garden features a charming laundry room and a separate rustic outdoor kitchen with a traditional pizza and bread oven, dining area and large glazed doors framing further beautiful views. Numerous seating areas are surrounded by mature trees and attractive planting.
At the front of the garden there is also a completely independent guest apartment, comprising a comfortable lounge, spacious double bedroom, en-suite shower room with WC and its own private terrace.
To the rear of the property there is extensive parking, a good-sized workshop/storage building and covered parking for up to six cars.
The property is located just a few minutes from a small hamlet, approximately 10 minutes from a village with amenities and around 40 minutes from the coast.
Cortijo Medina has been tastefully restored, retaining the traditional character and features of the original country estate while incorporating modern comforts. Properties of this quality and character are rarely available in this area.
